My personal thougths:

Can I say, I really like this kind of movie, so maybe my comment little bias here (LOLz).The young lead actor at this movie amused me, because I still remember how young Josh Hutcherson (who play Steve), and Chris Massoglia (My lovely Darren Shan of course), n now they already become a teenager haha...it is really make me realize that I'm already old (T.T).I enjoyed watching it alone at my pc, and I even imagine it if I watched this at movie theatre it would be really good because the effect is nice but of course not to perfect. I have the book of this movie, eeerrrr I'm sorry I'm not the owner but my sister did. She likes the book even collect it, so when i hear the movie is out, i think is worth to watch it, and i'm not wrong. Maybe for the first minute of the movie there kinda flat but after how Darren and Steve have the pamflet of Cirque the plot it more growing on me, and yeah i'm more excited. In this movie I like the development character and the looks of Darren, at the first minute they draw Darren character like diligent student even his style too neat (and for me is really like dull), but when he is joining de cirque and became a member of the freak , his personality had changes gradually and I'm really appreciated that.
Is there any different between the books and the movie? the answer is yes! The Plot of the story is little differ here,  the story at the books are darker than the movie because at this movie there are many comedy scenes and make it more bright than the original (the books).And how about the character? I think they draw the character at the movie almost same with the books, what make it differ is Mr. Tiny who is at the book he is draw as small men but in this movie he is not that small, Mr. Crespley not so cool as in the books, and I even didn't remember they have Rebecca character in the book. Overall i love this movie, even they had change the plot, but i want to admited that i dont really like how the move will have a sequel or etc, so my ranking of this movie is 8/10.
